Game Day : Habs @ Panthers

The Snow Birds will be out tonight. Habs are in Florida baby! These are always enjoyable games. Nothing like heading into the enemies building and knowing that 60% of the people there will be wearing bleu blanc rouge!

No excuses tonight, Habs should walk out of this one a winner. Florida was virtually picked apart during the month of February. Pre-deadline the Panther were weak, post-deadline the Panthers are hardly a team. I don't mean to be mean, but really, they are about as low as it gets at this point. The Habs have no reason not to walk out of Miami with two points in regulation. However, knowing the Habs, we might be in for a close one.

Hot hands? I think so. Max Pac has 6 goals in 10 games. While some might not consider that hot, I beg to differ. First off, he's a rookie, secondly he's a Montreal Canadien, lol. AK46 has also been pretty consistent in his past 4 games. Pointing in each of them. Rare, so lets hope he keeps it up.

As far as the Panthers go, Vokoun is all I'm worried about. He has the ability to shut the door some nights. I would imagine Alex Auld will get the start tonight. Carey needs all the rest he can get at this point of the season.

Not really much else to say about this game. Cept Go Habs Go!

The Habs usually don't play well against teams such as Florida but like you said, no excuses tonight, with a bit of a streak going and a HUGE game Saturday against the Bolts, they have to win this game and they have to make a statement and win it well.

I'll be positive for once Tongue.

5-1 habs.

i agree, it should be easy but we should still keep in mind that they usually have to much fun in the sun. ill be optimistic though and agree with both of you that it should be a walk in the park

4-1 habs

Not sure it'll be a blow out. But it will be a win.
