Danny Briere Out Indefinitely With A Concussion

The injury status of Danny Briere has been clarified this afternoon.

A day after being told he suffered an upper-body injury, the Flyers announced that Briere will be out indefinitely with a concussion.

Briere said he crashed into the boards pretty hard during practice on Saturday. He didn't play in Sunday's 2-1 over time loss in Pittsburgh.

Briere has five goals and eight assists in 28 games this season. He hasn't found the back of the net in each of his last 13 games.

This isn't the first injury of the season for Briere. He missed the beginning of the season with a broken wrist sustained in Germany.
