Jordan Hill Signs With Sound Tigers

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced the signing of defenseman Jordan Hill to an AHL contract late this afternoon. Hill signed a PTO (professional try-out) deal with the team on October 27 after Nathan McIver was injured in a fight with Worcester Sharks winger Jimmy Bonneau the day before.

In his first game on the ice for the Tigers, Hill paid his dues depositing a goal off of assists from Marc Cantin and Colin McDonald. New to the organization, Hill is not a stranger to BST head coach Scott Pellerin who coached Hill for two seasons as a Monarch.(Photo-Pope Steve XXVII)

He is also no stranger to several former Sound Tigers. Jordan played alongside Justin DiBenedetto, Mark Katic and Matt Martin with the Sarnia Sting before turning pro.

With one goal and four assists in just seven games with the team, it looks like the Sarnia, ON natve has found a home in Bridgeport.

Welcome aboard Jordan.
