Catching Up With John Tavares

As a member of the NYI Blog Box, I have the privilege of attending Islander home games with media credentials that grant me access to the post-game press-conferences and interviews. Here I am allowed to ask the coach a question as well as interviewing any player in the locker room.
However, today I had the opportunity to have a one-on-one interview with John Tavares after the morning skate at Nassau Coliseum with some questions I had prepared ahead of time.

Yeah it was pretty exciting. I mean I have done a few interviews in the past in the locker room after games, but they have usually been brief and just related to the game they played so this was definitely exciting.
