Hawks honor Reif; earn emotional win against Leafs

After a disappointing shootout loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road, the Hawks came back to the United Center and shut out the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-0 on Sunday night. Antti Raanta stopped 31 shots to earn his second shutout of the year.

A closer look at Hawks' deadline moves

The trade deadline has come and passed for the 2014 season, and while the rest of the league was busy making blockbuster deals, the Hawks were quietly adding depth in a relatively low-key deadline. Hawks overwhelmed by Avalanche in return to the United Center

After a dominant win against the Penguins at Soldier Field on Saturday, the Hawks would drop their third game this season to the Colorado Avalanche in a 4-2 home loss at the United Center.  Semyon Varlamov was stellar in net, stopping 36 shots for the Avs, while Corey Crawford would take the loss for the Hawks.
